A message to everyone, trans or cis: your voice is good enough. Never let anyone fucking tell you otherwise. No one gets to choose how you fucking sound except you, and you can choose whatever you want. You do not owe the world femininity or masculinity. Your voice is your own.
I've been voice training for over 2 years, and I've been told that my voice is really passing. Do you know why I do it, though? Because I like the way my voice sounds like that. I've also stopped shooting for a specific range of "woman's" voice and started to just go with what I like to sound like, which is a less feminine voice than what i had been going for for my first year voice training.
It's okay to have a voice that falls outside of the gender norm. I've known cis women with deeper voices than a good portion of my cis men friends, and I've known cis men with voices higher than my cis women friends. Aside from a small portion of assholes, no one cared about their voice, and even fewer cared once they themselves realized that they liked their voice as their own.
So many people chase a particular sound so that way they'll be seen as who they are. I've known a couple cis folk who even went as far as looking to get surgery to make their voice closer to what they were told their voice should sound like. Every last one of them had a beautiful voice just the way that they were, and none of them were looking because they didn't like the way they sounded, it was always so other people would stop treating them poorly.
Long story short, use the voice that you want to use, and if anyone gives you grief for it, pipe bomb.
